Little Ashes is out in US theatres today, and the reviews are in.
It doesn’t help that he’s burdened with the most ludicrous fake facial hair since Salma Hayek’s beefy monobrow in Frida.
It is all very heady and earnest and excruciatingly dull. If the acting were less wooden and the dialogue less insistently devoted to issuing manifestoes, “Little Ashes” might have vibrated with the danger and strangeness of the intensely lived commitments it tries to explore.
Reelz Channel complies all reviews, and summarizes them:
Reviews are lukewarm at best, and apparently they've got nothing to do with Pattinson's nearly-full-frontal-nudity scene, which was widely panned.
