Remember Me: A Simplified Review
Remember Me. That's what Rob, or Tyler, wants you to do. And yes, Tyler, we do. I do.
The title of the film is simple, yet carries through the entire film. There are many themes to this movie; family, love, friends, life. Of course, the plotline isn't something new. But rest assured, the film is still a good one.
Acting-wise, I love it. Rob, ever the versatile actor (check him out in The Haunted Airman. Really.), portrays the tourtured soul, Tyler with much feelings and emotion. Emilie de Ravin and Ruby Jerins were also great, as do the other supporting characters (Chris Cooper, Lena Olin, Pierce Brosnan). Also, the chemistry between the two is so great. Rob also plays a great big brother to Ruby's character.
Soundtrack; the score is nice. Love the songs played, though they were not many of which I hear, since I was too mesmerized by Rob and Emilie.
The ending is a huge twist, and is hard to forget. It's the movie's defining moment, and will be in your mind until you leave the theater.
Fans of Rob, this is a must-watch, for your fav actor is superb in this one. Non-fans, you might wanna watch this to see why many girls are falling for this Brit actor. Whoever you are, give this a try.
p/s this is just a simplified review, since I'm sleepy now, but trust me, if I go a second time (and I'll make sure of it), it will be detailed. :)
