Rumour Has It!: Rob for 'Catching Fire'

Rumour has it that Rob might appear in Catching Fire, the second part of The Hunger Games.

Rumour has it however, that he could be about to gain a whole new army of fans, with sources linking Pattinson to a role in Catching Fire, the forthcoming sequel to The Hunger Games. Word is that Lionsgate want Pattinson and his prodigious cheekbones to take on the role of Finnick Odair, a former tribute with an eye for the ladies, who gets dragged into the Third Quarter Quell (a Hunger Games contested by previous winners). Now while we're slightly sceptical as to whether Pattinson would really want to throw his lot in with another teen franchise post-Twilight, the fact that his Water For Elephants collaborator Francis Lawrence is now filling the director's chair could make this one a goer. If he does accept the role, expect future Hunger Games premieres to take on the hysterical quality of their Twilight counterparts.

Rob has a Cameo in 'Entourage'?

Reports surfaced that Rob may appear in HBO's hit series, 'Entourage'. The claim was made by none other than the infamous Perez Hilton.

Well-trusted site Gossip Cop busted this rumour.

Well, we know Pattinson can do comedy, ever since we saw him “bothered” in a tree with Jimmy Fallon last spring. But here’s Gossip Cop’s spoiler: Perez Hilton does comedy, too, albeit unintentionally. Robert Pattinson has NOT filmed a cameo for “Entourage.” A source close to the star tells Gossip Cop exclusively that it’s “not true.”

Even MTV UK picked the story up, but then said that 'network HBO has not confirmed the news, despite usually making a big deal on Entourage’s A list guests.'

LOL!! Rob addresses a rumour of him being pregnant!

BEVERLY HILLS, California — Rob and Kristen are engaged. They're going to name their first child a combination of their mothers' names, just like in the "Twilight" books. A big wedding is on the way, quite likely with Bigfoot officiating.

As their fame has grown, so has the insanity level of the rumors about their personal lives. On Friday (November 6), "New Moon" star Robert Pattinson sat down with MTV News, and was eager to address one of the more notable bits of news he saw the last time he Googled himself.

"I like the story about me being pregnant," laughed the 23-year-old British heartthrob. "It was in some Australian magazine, on the front page!"

As they've filmed "New Moon" and "Eclipse," Rob and Kristen Stewart have spent the last 12 months going from "the kid in the Harry Potter movies" and "the girl from 'Panic Room' " to the type of people whose every move is meticulously discussed, whether real or not. Luckily, Pattinson has the sort of self-deprecating British wit that allows him to laugh it all off.

"I was like, 'Wow, that's just [insane],' " he said of the pregnancy rumors. "And it's not even ironic.

"I don't even think the article [tried to justify it]; it was just a headline," Spunk Ransom marveled. "The article was just like, nothing."

On Friday afternoon, one day after the first public screenings of the eagerly anticipated "Twilight" sequel, the stars of the series invaded a hotel in Beverly Hills, accompanied by a small army of security guards. And, right away, RPattz had some big news he wanted to break while addressing those rumors that he is pregnant.

"I am, yes," he laughed, joking that he is now with child. "Yeah, it's in my armpit because I'm hiding it from everyone."

Stay tuned for tons of interviews with Rob, Taylor, Kristen and the rest of the gang in the days ahead. But as for the fun-loving Rob, he told us that he was just happy to extinguish what might be the craziest "Twilight" rumor of all time.

Rob Pattinson as Prince Harry?

Another casting rumour for Rob.

Rumours are going about (even on E! News!) that Rob is in the running for the role of British royal Prince Harry in a biopic about the prince.

Not only that, some other Brits are also up for the role, including Rupert Grint and Rupert afriend.

So, it the rumour true??

The ever-trusted Gossip Cop debunked this rumour.

The Internet is buzzing with talk that “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson and “Harry Potter” sidekick Rupert Grint are on the short list to play Britain’s Prince Harry in an upcoming film called The Spare. According to stories on E! and elsewhere, the two young stars, along with Rupert Friend, are “among the hotties in the running” for the lead role. OK! goes so far as to declare, “Robert Pattinson is in line to play Prince Harry in a new movie.”

To borrow a phrase from our British friends — bullocks!

Director Peter Kosminsky never actually said whether Pattinson, Grint, or anyone else was being considered for the prince. The Harry biopic is still too far off. An associate of Kosminsky tells Gossip Cop that he has another movie he’s working on, and in terms of casting for The Spare, they’re “not at that stage.”

The latest issue of OK! Magazine reports that Rob Pattinson and New Moon co-star Kristen Stewart are getting married, dubbed as 'Wedding of the Year'.

Inside, they gave details of the wedding, and it turns out, it's for Breaking Dawn.

As other Twihards and Twifansites can tell you, they haven't started on Breaking Dawn yet, and the wedding scene is not in Eclipse. So, how did OK! get this 'exclusive' scoop? Huh.

Rob likes texting Kristen Stewart

Oh, this is somewhat interesting...

The British actor has told a pal he texts rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart a whopping 400 times a month!

“He says a day doesn’t feel right unless he talks to her a dozens times — anything that goes through his mind, he relays to her,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

Meanwhile, sources on the Vancouver, Canada, set of the third Twilight film Eclipse are adamant Stewart, 19, has dumped longtime boyfriend Michael Angarano and is “hooking up” with Pattinson.

“Word on the set of Twilight is that Angarano and Kristen are completely broken up,” one insider told People magazine. “While people don’t want to talk about it, everyone is pretty convinced that Pattinson and Stewart are hooking up.”

This is, presumabably, more B.S.

Robert Pattinson—Diva Extraordinaire?

There have been reports that Rob is acting a little bit.. diva-ish. So true, or so false?

According to E! Online, this is so false.

After Rob's sketchy security sitch over in NYC, which left our boy straight-up vulnerable to the crazy fans, rumors swirled that R.P. was pissed. And rightfully so, don't you all think?

So what were Rob's crazy diva demands to the studio that basically owns him?

Sources over at Summit tell us Rob might be the most easygoing celeb they've ever worked with.

"He's always so relaxed and flexible—it's amazing. Someone with that star level has power. And he doesn't use it at all," dishes Deep Twi.

"Everyone just hopes he stays this way. It doesn't seem possible."

Rob possibly up for role as Lance Armstrong?

E! Online has a poll on which actor should play Lance Armstrong in a new biopic about the cycling legend.

Rob is on the poll, apparently.

Lance Armstrong is finally getting his own biopic, says the Hollywood Reporter's Risky Business blog. The film will focus on Armstrong's pretabloid triumphs, including beating testicular cancer and winning his first Tour de France.

Can't wait. Let the Tour de Lance begin, to see which Hollywood actor has what it takes to play the cycling legend: Chris Pine? Robert Pattinson? McConaughey? Gyllenhaal?

Robert Pattinson gets sold out!

Uh-oh! Trouble ahead for someone...

A Life & Style report claiming that at the amfAR gala the other night in Cannes, Robert Pattinson was all over some girl called Erika , kissing her, and leaving with her. The magazine has published a photo of the two together “at the event”.

Relax ladies. The whole story is suspect. The pictures are suspect, the details are suspect. 

First - the amfAR event was loaded with journalists. Many, many journalists. It would however seem that the only witness to Pattinson’s supposed hookup with this blonde was Life & Style’s source. Because everyone else – and trust me, EVERYONE was watching him that night, including several with a vested interest and much to gain from a Robert Pattinson romance story – observed that he was actually really low key that night, spoke with Emile Hirsch and a few other celebrities, was not drinking heavily, and certainly did not spend most of the night, if any part of the night, in the exclusive company of “Erika”. 

Speaking of Emile Hirsch though – you can blame him for Pattinson getting sold out. Because it’s his friend who did it.

Remember Laura, Mio, and I were on the du Cap terrace on Wednesday night? Click here and here if you have not yet read those posts.

We’d been boozing on the terrace when Pattinson arrived with his management. Emile Hirsch, his girlfriend, and some other girls came later.

Eventually Emile and his girlfriend joined Pattinson’s table. Was funny because Hirsch pulled up two chairs and didn’t bother pulling up a third for the attractive blonde who was with them and clearly wanted to sit down. Laura said her face was kinda pouty. 

And who was she? Yes, she was Erika. The same Erika with Pattinson in these pictures. But they were not taken at amFAR on Thursday. They were taken on the terrace. 100%. We saw her in this outfit Wednesday night, shaking Pattinson’s hand when she was introduced to him by Emile Hirsch and his girlfriend. Anyone who has ever been to the du Cap terrace, and we go there every year, have done so for 4 years, can tell you it’s the du Cap terrace.

In other words: a friend of Emile Hirsch misrepresented herself. A friend of Emile Hirsch sold out Robert Pattinson. These photos are being sold in high quality. Which means you can’t blame Facebook because the only way they can be sold in HQ is if they’re the originals. Oh wait, let me guess, her camera was stolen.

So what are the conclusions that can be drawn from this, other than the fact that Life & Style, once again, um, got it wrong?

Three possibilities:

1. Erika did not f-ck Pattinson the night at the du Cap because if they did go to bed, in selling these pictures, she’s effectively killed any other chance of going to bed with him again. 

2. He turned her down, this is why she’s selling the photos, figuring she may as well profit from his rejection (Laura believes this is the most plausible explanation) 

3. She did f-ck him, doesn’t care to f-ck him again, and figures she should profit from their night together

Whatever the explanation, she’s not showing up in the best light. 

Also…

4. Emile Hirsch is a douche. 

5. Emile Hirsch has douchey friends

Again, trouble ahead for that 'friend' person... Oh, btw, the photo above:

Rob Rumored Flirting With L.A.'s Female Resident

Here's goes another one.

Rob Pattinson was spotted flirting with one Erika Dutra, a LA feamle resident. They met through a mutual friend.

Life and Style reports that the British heartthrob and Erika were spotted canoodling at the post-party for amfAR Cinema Against AIDS in Cannes. The time and venue where Robert and Erika allegedly hook up remain unknown. Yet, an unnamed source has the details of the twosome's close bond. "Erika was introduced to Robert by a mutual friend at the beginning of the night and he was smitten with her from that point on," the source tells Life and Style. "He took pictures of her, sat with her all night, and the two of them were even seen kissing! There was serious chemistry between them, and they looked like they were having an amazing time." 

Later on, Robert and Erika were seen leaving the party together, the source reveals further. No comment has been made just yet by Robert himself if the report is true or not. 

Hmm... inneresting eh...

Rob: 'I'm Not Dating Twilight Co-Star Kristen Stewart'

Aha! This is what we already knew, but then the rumours just keep on coming!

In a recent interview with Look Magazine, Rob clears off all the rumours about him and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart being an item.

“No! She has a boyfriend. I don't know where that came from,” Rob said.

The pair, whose characters are passionately in love in the vampire series, have faced constant speculation about their personal relationship over recent months.

They were last spotted together last week during Rob's 23rd birthday celebrations in Vancouver BC, the location for Twilight sequel, New Moon.

The actor also revealed that he wasn't dating anybody at the moment because he had struggled to talk to women since Twilight had become so successful.

“It's very uncomfortable. If you try and chat people up, everyone's like: 'Oh, you probably go around sleeping with everybody'," he said. "So it kind of has the converse effect of what you would have thought.”

Glad he cleared that up.

Gossip Girls reports:

According to a recent report, the “Twilight” stud has frequented a local Vancouver strip club while in town to shoot his current project “New Moon.”

While spending time at Brandi’s Exotic Nightclub, Rob took a liking to a curvy adult entertainer named Kendra who gave him a private lap dance on his first visit.

An inside source told press, “She’s very pretty and very sexy.  She reminds me of Bo Derek in 10.”

However, E! reports otherwise, and clears up the rumour:

But when we called Brandi’s, the club says they haven’t seen or heard of R.Pattz visiting their establishment. Rob’s manager wasn’t available for comment.

We’re tempted to call BS on this rumor, because let’s face it: The guy is constantly photographed (and being chased down alleys). Would he really be able to hit a strip club twice without cameras getting shots of him?
